A pair of French cobalt blue-ground aged ormolu-mounted sevres-style porcelain vases and cover, painted in continuous repeated view miniature after the paintings of François Boucher, one vase miniature shows the painting "The Four Seasons - The Summer circa 1755, and the other vase depicts the painting "The Amorous Shepherd, circa 1738", the shoulder flanked by upright aged-ormolu acanthus-scroll handles suspending rings with extended beaded acanthus leaf, with a waisted cobalt blue neck form encircled with ormolu laurel wreath and enriched with gilt foliate pattern and musical trophy, surmounted with a cobalt blue domed cover ornamented with gilt scrollwork and musical trophy, with a pine-cone finial, raised on an gilt ornamented cobalt blue conforming socle and engraved aged-ormolu circular footed base.
